What is Peace? In this personal development post, the question is: Do we find peace, do we make peace or do we choose peace. Well, in Matthew Ferry’s words:
“Most people are concerned with two aspects of peace. Peace in the world and inner peace. Choosing peace in every aspect of life will simultaneously assist the world in achieving peace. In the end they are one in the same. When you choose peace, you declare yourself an agent of change. Choosing peace means letting go of pre-programmed negative reactions to the world like anger, resentment, righteousness, domination and retaliation. This commitment leads to the second type of peace.
Inner peace is a quality of knowing that all is well in the world… Read the rest of this entry »

This is a post that has been around for a little bit but I think it is still very valuable. Let me know what you think?
What is RSS Feed and how does it work? That is a good question. Many people have a basic understanding of what it is, however, they don’t know the best way to use it.
Who uses feeds like this? USA Today, BBC News, ABC New and on and on… so why not You. This is a great way to ensure that people who are interested in you, stay interested in you. You want to give them ample opportunities to subscribe so that you can be there for them when they are looking for some information or advice.
Like wise, you want to subscribe to sources of information that keeps you informed without taking you hours to search and find it.
The reason that you want people to follow your personal or business blog RSS is you want people to know who you are. People join people that they know, like and trust. What better way for them to get to that point than to be reading your blog.
Click on my RSS Feed and keep connected to me!

Social Media To Mobile Media
We are all aware of the use of social media to connect businesses and their customers. If you have a business and you have not developed a way for your customers to connect with you, at the very least through Facebook and Twitter, you are behind the times and losing out on those valuable connections. These connections enable you to stay in front of your customers online, where many of them are.
Not too long ago this was all new to businesses, but Read the rest of this entry »

Do You Have A Personal Theme?
What do you use to get yourself back on track? If you are in a funk or if something happens that takes you off your game, what do you use to bring yourself back to your sweet spot?
I learned this technique from Vanessa Duplessie who did a session for Johnathan Budd’s Life Transformation Now program. The lesson was about having a Personal Theme. Do you have a personal theme or mantra? Well, Read the rest of this entry »

The Keyword In This Business Is: Network
This could be your business network or your personal network,
bottom line you need to create a network.
When you are looking at going into a network marketing business there are vital questions you must ask.
- How do you get paid? Some companies only have a couple of different ways to get paid while others have multiple ways of getting paid.
- When you do get paid? Is it one time payments or is it recurring/residual income?
- Is the residual paid on people that you sign up as reps or on recurring purchases by clients? Read the rest of this entry »

To do a home meeting or to not have a home meeting, that is the question.
Today I was on a training call with the leaders in my primary business. The training that they provide is great. Two of the trainers have been in the networking business for years and have been very successful. So, when your leaders are successful you should do what your leaders are suggesting for you to do. If you do what successful people do, you will eventually be successful too.
So, some background of what sales training we have received. Read the rest of this entry »

The business card has been around since the 1600′s and it has pretty much been the same for all of these years. Sure with the advent of the computer and better printing the card did evolve to a more elaborate display. Then, as the internet has expanded and more and more people start doing business online it is only fitting that a genuine Internet business card be developed.
Yes, we have places that have our information and Read the rest of this entry »

My personal development journey started back in the late 1970s. The first books that I remember reading on this subject were I’m OK, You’re OK, by Thomas A Harris MD , which was a best seller for over 2 years and sold more that 15 million copies and As a Man Thinketh a literary essay by James Allen, published in 1902. Both of these books opened up a new way of thinking for me. Read the rest of this entry »

I always loved a challenge, so when my business partner Dotti Berry told me about this what could I say?
So, here we go we are blazing a new trail, one video at a time. The challenge is to produce a video everyday for 7 weeks. This is not for the faint of heart, you have to be like the people in the movie Brave Heart!! This will give you Freedom from your excuses, your reasons for not getting things done. The road to hell is paved with good intentions, that will not work.
One way to stick to this is to understand that it is not about trying … that word needs to be taken out of your vocabulary. You are either going to do it or you are not. If you are seated in a chair, have you ever tried to get up? Well, that’s right you either get up or you stay seated. Trying doesn’t do you any good! I know that we have been told over and over in our lives that we just need to keep trying. That seems so useless now. If you think about in light of that, if you just keep trying to do something and nothing changes that is the definition of insanity. Read the rest of this entry »

Using your mobile media device to connect to the Internet is really a great way to get connected when there’s no hot spot in sight.
If you are out in a rural area or away from a hot spot, look to your phone to save the day. By connecting or tethering your phone to your laptop or PC you can have internet access anywhere. Any phone with broad band access allows you to tether, and this can be done with a USB cable, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
Mobile Media Providers
There may be a few difficulties because your wireless provider is holding the cards on this access. Some Read the rest of this entry »

Wow, WordPress is getting a lot of negative or Badpress, (pun intended) these days.
In an earlier post, WordPress blogs being hacked I described the stress that I felt when I could not get into and edit my WordPress blog. I was wondering if the sky was falling! But, cooler heads prevailed and I came out of that knowing more about WordPress.org and how to protect my data etc. Read the rest of this entry »

So, you think you can make it in this business, but you been doing it for awhile, and have had little success. Maybe you have been working on your blog or you have been on Facebook and made a few friends. Well, it is going to take more than that. It will take a proven technique and a lot of focus.
The only way to make it in this business it to get started on something that is working and then stick with it long enough to see if it works for you. “Well, what if it doesn’t work and I fail?” It is not failure it is only feedback.

Don’t you think it is quite amazing the feeling of total “freak out” that a person feels when they realize that they have lost their phone? Well, that is nothing compared to the freak out that I felt when I thought that I had lost everything on my blog last week!
When my blog was hacked the idea of losing the central nervous center of my business had the hair on the back of my neck standing on ends. Luckily for me, I was able to get it fixed and not lose anything, and it was a great relief when all was well with my blog. Below you will find how I was able to recover from this. When I run across helpful tools I love to share them with my online friends. There are so many tools out there, that we do not always run into the same ones. If they are helpful, then I want to make sure that you know about them.
So, today I am sharing ones that are not really related to one another, but will be of interest to people in different stages of their marketing process.

First of all it is important to really understand what you are dealing with in a mortgage. So many people have mortgages that everyone just thinks that it is “normal”. But, if we are knew what we were paying for, for that “privilege” we would be pretty upset.
Well I am mad as *ell and I am not going to take it anymore! … Read the rest of this entry »
