  • New To Internet Marketing – Learn From The Leaders In The Industry

Posted on Timeless Kathy Sammons 24 comments

Whenever you start a new endeavor it is very important that you learn the basics of what you are doing.  So, if you are new to Network Marketing or more specifically Internet Marketing then you should learn to follow the leaders in the field.  One of them is Mike Dillard and his book Magnetic Sponsoring is a must read.

I was completely new to this way of promoting my business and one of the first leaders that I ran into was Mike Dillard.  I studied his material and learned a lot.  If you do what successful people do, then you will be successful too.

Here you will find the beginning with this free boot camp, Magnetic Sponsoring pay attention and study what he is sharing with you and you will find your own success.

Running into Mike Dillard was one of the  best things that has happened to me online.  One thing that you have to remember is that we all start at the beginning.  When Mike first started out he was a waiter at a restaurant barely making it.  However, because of his drive and his determination he figured things out.  Now he is giving you a leg up and sharing what he learned and why it helped him.

The most important point, however, is that it is not enough to read and learn what is here, you have to apply it to your situation.  You might not learn everything from one leader, but you keep learning and compiling information and one day you will have your way of doing business online and you can pass that on to those that come after you.  It is an evolution of success, and it is up to you whether you are going to evolve or not.

Hi Kathy,nnThis is so true. I purchased Magnetic Sponsoring 6 years ago, and following Mike got me going on the internet.nnTime moves on and I adapted his material and added more from other leading trainers. Now I have produced something special to help others find customers every day on line, just like I do. Best of luck building your network.

Hi Kathy – You picked one of my favorites too! I love Mike Dillard and have learned a ton from him. My favorite Mike Dillard item so far is Black Belt Recruiting. It really put things in perspective for me – grab a copy if you haven’t already:) Thanks for sharing this!

This is some great advice Kathy. I first learned about modeling from reading Tony Robbins. I agree with you that Mike’s book can be a big help especially to those just starting out in network marketing.nnIt’s also good advice to implement what you learn immediately after you learn it. The key is to build momentum early and then keep it going. If your behavior hasn’t changed, you really haven’t learned anything.

That is so true Dave. A person needs to see what their habits are, see what their motivation level is like and do some deep searching to see if they have what it takes to do a business online. It takes at lot of consistent development from different source to move forward in this arena.nThanks for coming by,nKathyn

Mike Dillard was my first online mentor as well, and you are right, it was quite eye-opening! I agree that Magnetic Sponsoring should be must reads for all new online marketers. I’m a huge fan of all his work, including his current project The Elevation Group. Brilliant. Thanks for sharing, Kathy!

Hi Kathy,nnYou couldn’t have said this any better… “it is not enough to read and learn what is here, you have to apply it to your situation.” that is so completely true. Taking action is the key. And I agree that learning from those that have already “done it” is a great way to take a giant leap forward in whatever you’re doing. I haven’t heard of Mike, but I will look him up since you’re recommending him (and Kim also seems to!). thanks for the tip! It’s always nice to find a personal recommendation as to another’s expertise.

Hi Kathy,nThis post contains valuable advice no matter what industry you’re in. I love how you pointed out that all the training, mentoring and coaching you receive won’t amount to anything if you don’t act on it. If only buying the training immediately applied the lessons! And we can find lessons in some unlikely places, if we follow your advice to apply the lesson to our specific situation. Great post! Allegra

Thanks so much for stopping by and yes… if only we could just read something and have it take over!! :) rnrnHowever, the only thing that works is massive action applied to an idea learned.rnrnKathy Sammons

Thanks for you note. Yes, we have to take action. Without action there is no reaction and nothing gets done.rnPeace…rnrnKathy Sammons

      Hi Kathy-
I really enjoyed this post.  I personally have never taken any classes or anything from Mike Dillard, but I may have to check him out now!  I really liked when you said that you may not learn everything from one teacher, but you keep learning and compiling the info and soon you will have your own style.  That is so the way it works, I feel like the eternal student sometimes.  I love learning and growing.  Thanks for the post.

Your video looks so conversational.  That is something I am trying to emulate.  You set high standards.  I like your advice to do what those who are successful are doing.  This is so true, not just in business, but in all facets of life.
